Hello everybody!
Welcome to our project!
As I told you in my introductory e-mail, I would like us to keep a blog where each partner school would have the opportunity to post any materials they want about Christmas in their countries, cities or homes.
Mr Joseph Molloy, our partner from Dublin, has been so kind to me as to help me create the blog. He has also explained to me how it works and how I can add you.
I hope all the schools mentioned on the list I sent you will answer my invitation.
The project is still pending for the approval of the Italian and the Romanian national services, but that will not take more than a week.
Until then, please let your students know about this project. They are free to prepare any materials about Christmas in their country. Originality is the crucial demand of this project, remember this!
I look forward to finding out more about you and your pupils/students!
All the best,
Liliana
Hello Everyone,
I am looking forward to the carolling in Europe project and I am interested in finding out some more about how to record our carols.

Dear Tom,
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here in this project with us.
Please let me know if you encounter other problems. Mr Molloy is our expert in anything connected to computers and the internet and I will do my best to be a fast learner.
All the best!

Hello Everyone,
🙂 I just had a look at the weather forecast. It looks like the snow is about to start falling in some parts of Europe already.
🙂 I too am looking forward to the project. I will outline the idea at the staff meeting this Friday. I am sure I will have plenty of volunteers. It will add an extra dimension to the celebration of Christmas. The students will have a lot of fun. The process is more important than the product. Remember – it is not a choral competition!

Dear Mr Molloy,
Indeed, winter is coming. We’ve already got a bit of snow and my pupils are simply thrilled.
Thank you very much for your support and involvement.
Best regards,

This is for Liliana:
It’s raining in Poland and we’re all a bit under the weather. Nevertheless,I’m getting happy when thinking about the project. I will have technical problems with recording our carol for sure but with some help the success is still to reach:):):)
Greetings
Kasia
Czesc, Kasia!
We will help one another, I am sure of that. I already feel I’m part of a wonderful team.
Have a wonderful evening!
Liliana
Czesc Liliana,
Thank you for the support. I am wondering how many people are involved already?
Have a nice Wednesday!
Kasia
Hello again, Kasia!
I am going to publish the list of our partners as soon as I manage to contact all of them and see if they are still interested in it. We are 10 until now, but there are still people who told me they wanted to join us, but haven’t shown any signs of life since then.
Hugs,
Liliana
Hello on Thursday!
I’ve seen the list in my twinspace. There are about 20 of us….. I am waiting for the news. Have a lovely day!
Kasia
Dear Liliana , Vincent and friends,
I’m afraid that some of my pupils still believe in Santa so I would not like to ruin their Christmas by finding out on this site. I wonder can we keep this topic somewhere hidden so as not to spoil things.
Tom
Hi, Tom!
Are you sure about that? :)) Maybe they’re just pretending…it helps when you want to get the gift that you’ve written in your letter to Santa…otherwise your parents might decide what’s good for you… :))
However, we can post some letters to Santa instead…
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hi Liliana
My name is Sheila Conlon, and I am teaching P.5 in Belfast. I received your invitation through Tom in Newmarket, as we have a partnership in a project called Dissolving Boundaries.
I am looking forward to this project, and hopefully I will learn as we go along!
By the way my pupils are only 8/9 and still believe!!!!!!!!!!!!
Regards
Sheila
HI everyone,
I’m Anstasia Ciavattella, and I teach English in Italy. My students are very eager to start up the project and work on traditional songs and special traditions to celebrate Xmas here in Italy.
We really are ready and, I think, next week we’ll get at work.
Bye for now,
Anastasia -ITALY
PS My students are a bit “OLDER” – (13-14).
Hello, Sheila!
Thanks a lot for joining our project.
Please create an account on eTwinning for your school so that I could invite you there as well. It is very important to have you there too because that is where the official documents for our collaboration are.
Best of luck to you and your kids,
Liliana
Hello everybody!!!
I am really happy that I get the invitation to be a part of this project. My students are happy as well. We are going to give you the oportunity to get to know how Christams is celebrated in Poland.
My name is Monika Szulkowska I am a teacher of English language in Junior high School in Poland. The group of student who are going to do this project with me has got 24 members . hope we will have a great time!!!!
That’s wonderful, Monika! Katia is from Poland as well. We had another Polish school that wanted to get involved in our project, but, unfortunately, although I wrote a few messages to the teacher who is responsible there, I have received no signs of life from him.
Hugs from Romania,
Liliana
Hi everybody,
This Christmas I am going to write on this blog as an independent contributor.
Who’s in this year?
